James
E. Low is a 1962 graduate of Loras College, Dubuque,
Iowa, and a 1965 graduate of Marquette University
Law School. He has been with Crooks, Low & Connell,
S.C., his entire career.
Jim is admitted to practice in all courts in the
State of Wisconsin, including the US District
Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts
of Wisconsin. He is a member and past president
of the Marathon County Bar Association, member
of the State Bar of Wisconsin, for which he served on the District 16 Professional
Responsibility Committee for eleven years, past teacher at the University
of Wisconsin Law School General Practice Program,
former District Chairman for the Samoset Council,
Rib Mountain District Boy Scouts of America and
former president of the Marathon County Agricultural
Society.
Jim has extensive experience in the estate, tax and business planning fields,
including wills, trusts and related estate and probate matters. He has handled
numerous personal injury claims of all kinds, including automobile, product
liability and professional liability matters and has broad experience in all
forms of civil litigation, including administrative hearings and worker’s
compensation cases. Jim has drafted numerous marital property agreements and
handled a variety of real estate transactions, landlord/tenant and construction
law matters. He has assisted many clients in forming various types of business
organizations over the years.
Jim is an active member of St. Matthew Catholic Congregation and the Optimist
Club of Wausau, and is a lifetime member of Optimist International.
